About Tiegan

I'm Tiegan, and I find things.

It started, as these things often do, with a single object — a small brass compass I picked up at a car boot sale for 50p. It was battered, green with verdigris, and absolutely magnetic (figuratively — it was, of course, made of brass). I cleaned it up, and it worked. And I was hooked.

Since then I've spent more weekend mornings than I can count rummaging through boxes, shelves, and tables piled high with the discarded, the forgotten, and the overlooked. Most of it stays forgotten. But every now and then, something catches the light — or catches my eye — and I know it deserves a second life.

That's what Tiegan is. It's the best of what I find, cleaned up, photographed, and offered to anyone who shares my appreciation for the curious, the well-made, and the slightly strange.

Every item on this site has been chosen by hand. I don't do mass buying, I don't do reproductions (unless clearly stated), and I don't sell anything I wouldn't happily keep myself. That last bit is actually the hardest part.

If you see something you like, don't hesitate — these are one-of-a-kind objects, and once they're gone, they're gone. Hit the enquire button and I'll get back to you personally.

Happy browsing.
